Looking for the next adaptation to watch? Don’t worry if you don’t already have Amazon Prime, because Amazon is offering a free 30-day trial of Prime Instant Video!

So, what sort of things can you watch with this? Here’s a few movie adaptations of books you might be after watching:

1. The Great Gatsby

Why Watch It?

Because Leonardo Dicaprio, that’s why! If you haven’t already watched this, then firstly, why?! And secondly, you need to! It’s got a brilliant soundtrack and a heap of amazing actors.

2. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Why Watch It?

This was my favourite film when I was younger and I still love it now! This is the original version with Gene Wilder which makes it even better, because we all know the Johnny Depp version didn’t even make it to the levels of this one. (Although, if that’s more your thing, that’s on Prime too!)

3. The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Why Watch It?

It’s only on Prime for a short time, but it’s worth watching just for Emma Watson. It’s really highly rated, and is adapted from an amazing book. Do you need any more reasons than that?

4. Marley and Me

Why Watch It?

Don’t you just love a film that lets you have a good cry? Marley and Me is the best one for that! Almost everyone has watched it at some point but it’s definitely worth watching hundreds of times so you can sob over and over.

5. Divergent

Why Watch It?

Who doesn’t want to watch Divergent? It’s one of the top YA books out there. Almost everyone (except me) has read it, and even if you haven’t you can still enjoy the film.

Tempted to watch any of these? It’s completely free if you get a 30-day free trial of Prime Instant Video.
