Looking for your next pre-order? Here’s four books I’m looking forward to!
1. The Crimes of Grindelwald – J.K. Rowling
I’ll say it – I didn’t like the Fantastic Beasts film, but I loved the screenplay. I know I won’t be rushing to see The Crimes of Grindelwald, but I’m really looking forward to reading the screenplay to it!
In this one, Newt joins Dumbledore to help stop Gellert Grindelwald from making wizards rule over the muggles.
This sounds like it will be really action packed and as interesting as Fantastic Beasts and I’m really looking forward to it being released!
Release: 16th November 2018
2. A Spark of Light – Jodi Picoult
This is as deep and thought provoking as all of Picoult’s other novels.
A gunman takes hostages at a women’s clinic, and the hostages are a varied collection of people which leads to many interesting situations while counting backwards through the hours of the standoff.
Although from the description this seems quite confusing, it does sound interesting and I feel that this one will be a bestseller as soon as it is released. I’m certainly desperate to get my hands on it!
Release: 2nd October 2018
3. My Mum Tracy Beaker – Jaqueline Wilson
I grew up with Tracy Beaker. And I know this book is aimed at children, but I definitely need to read it!
Tracy Beaker is back and she’s now a mum to Jess. Tracy does everything she can to give Jess the childhood she wanted when she was in the Dumping Ground. But when Tracy gets a new boyfriend, Jess is worried this will change Tracy.
To have the chance to read about Tracy as a grown-up is my dream and as soon as this was announced I decided I had to get my hands on it. And I won’t stop raving about it until I do!
Release: 21st February 2019
4. What if it’s Us – Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera
After Reading Simon vs and loving it, I’m even more excited for this now.
Arthur and Ben meet at a post office. Arthur is only in New York for the summer and is hoping for romance, and Ben thinks the universe needs to mind its own business and stop meddling with his life. Their story is full of what-ifs.
I love the sound of this!
