I love Christmas books. And I mean I LOVE them. Especially the cosy romances that you can’t help but snuggle up with and read in one go.
But I don’t have anywhere near enough! I’ve got a few that I read religiously every single year, and I discovered a few new ones last year thanks to NetGalley and Harper Impulse. But other than that, I have nowhere near enough!
So here’s a few that have made it onto my Wishlist this year.
The Gift – Cecelia Ahern
A Cecelia Ahern book I don’t own?! Who knew that was possible?!
The other week I was just thinking about different authors who need to bring out a festive book, and when I did a search about Cecelia Ahern, I found out she actually has written a Christmas book.
Christmas and snuggly romances go hand in hand, so I really have to get this at some point. I know I will devour it within a few days.
Father Christmas and Me – Matt Haig
I’ve never grown out of Middle-Grade fiction. I love it just because it is always so fun! I’m a massive fan of Matt Haig’s adult novels so I’m desperate to try some of his MG Fiction just for a nice quick read.
Nothing says Christmas quite like getting to feel like a kid again.
He’s also got a few other Christmas books that I want:
A Boy Called Christmas
The Girl Who Saved Christmas
I feel like we share a love for Christmas.
One Christmas Kiss in Notting Hill – Mandy Baggot
Finally, a book on my TBR that I have actually bought! I got this one from The Works in their 3 for £5 deal because I can’t resist a cheesy Christmas romance!
I feel like this one is going to be quite entertaining. I’ve heard quite a few people say they enjoy it so I can’t wait to get started!
Christmas at Rosie Hopkins’ Sweet Shop – Jenny Colgan
I’ve read a few of Jenny Colgan’s other novels and found them really entertaining, but I hadn’t even heard about this one before I found it at a charity shop. It’s a good chunky book and will definitely take me much longer to read than the rest, but the synopsis does seem exciting.
I’ve got a feeling that this will be a very snuggly book!
Have you read any of these? Or are there any more I should add to the list? Let me know in the comments.
